If you think it would be wonderful to visit the American Air Museum from the comfort of your own home – now you can! Get online and take a 360° virtual tour of the Museum today.

This new feature – created exclusively for Museum members – was created by photographer James Walker of Potomac Images, who worked to capture our museum, aircraft and displays over the course of a dozen days back in March 2020.

The result is an interactive experience that is easy to navigate and is the next best thing to visiting the Museum in person.

Moving your mouse or tapping your phone brings you nose to nose with the B-52 Stratofortress. From there, you can choose specific aircraft to focus on or “walk” into different areas. In addition to circling around the aircraft – getting up close to examine details or “stepping” back for a wider view – you can venture into cockpits and imagine yourself in the shoes of the airmen who flew them.

You now have the ability to explore historic aircraft from the inside and out whenever you like for as long as you like with the 360° virtual tour.

IMPORTANT: The 360° Virtual Tour is password protected for use by American Air Museum members only. This is a new benefit offered to our members when you renew your membership for 2021. Please email our Membership Team at members@aamb.us with any questions.
